After our wild climb through the ziggurat and the moment I added my first real ingredient (yay, myrrh!), we returned to someone very special—Ninsaba, the wise woman with a tent full of secrets.
She had been expecting us. I may have accidentally let slip that I used a little bit of magic to help with the whole… “ingredient discovery” situation. She didn’t seem too surprised. In fact, she smiled like she knew all along.
But what really caught us off guard was what she said next.
“Your journey,” Ninsaba told us, “is far from over.”
She unrolled a mysterious map of ancient Egypt, pointing to a temple unlike any we’d ever heard of—the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to the goddess of beauty, music, and fragrance. That’s when the locket started to shimmer again, pulsing with excitement like it couldn’t wait another second.
And just like that, we were gone.
